Undergraduate Awarded National Scholarship
David Galik, a senior Engineering major, has been awarded the Ben King Award which is a $1,000 scholarship given through the national Endowment Fund on a yearly basis. Read more.

Computer Grant Donated by Endowment Fund
The Endowment fund has provided a computer grant of $1700 to the chapter to upgrade the existing network and computers. We are planning on using the grant to purchase a new computer for the study room, upgrade memory on the existing computers, convert one of the existing computers into a file server/firewall, purchase a new laser printer and install wireless access points throughout the house. These improvements should stabilize the current network to provide a reliable and secure internet connection and file server to the undergraduate members.

House Corp Moves Forward with Renovations
The newly formed House Corporation board (see members here) has approved the installation of new windows for the entire house as well as some main floor renovations. After securing a loan for $25,000 from the Phi Kappa Psi Endowment Fund the board is moving forward with some major renovations to increase the quality of living for members and improve the general aesthetics of the house. New double pane, double hung, side by side windows with argon glass tint are being ordered and will hopefully be installed before the actives move back in mid August. Also the main ceiling is being completely redone as well as some other general main floor improvements. Come back for homecoming in October (7th, 8th, 9th) and see for yourself!
